My salsa epiphany came at age 15 as a teenager in Guatemala. I’d been invited to a party where I noticed someone dancing salsa. I couldn’t look away! I decided immediately that’s what I wanted to do.
Fast forward to 22, I joined the country’s top dance company
I’ve represented Guatemala across multiple international dance contests and was the first ever sport dancer to represent Guatemala internationally, coming runner-up in the prestigious Latin Open Championship in Costa Rica.
I’m an elected international dance ambassador of Juntos Collective and have trained and taught across the world, including Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Scotland.
I am an expert in teaching all ages and experience levels - even those who think they have two left feet! The music is so rich and the dance is social - you don't have to be an expert to enjoy it. Salsa was created to socialise and it has an enormous power to bring people together.
I love teaching at DAN’S because I feel that we connect with Latin dance culture in a deeper way. DAN’Sers have a Latin soul!
